UPDATE: February 21, 2012 – We lost our extraordinary friend and mentor Robin Wheeler yesterday.  She influenced so many of us who are now out in the world, sharing our experiences with others who have a dream to get back into closer contact with the land that sustains us.  Her incredibly generous heart, fierce intelligence, love of this planet and gentle humor made a difference, and the ripples of her work will roll out for a very long time to come.  Now it’s our turn to step up…

In August 2010, I had the pleasure of interviewing Robin Wheeler, author of Food Security of the Faint of Heart and Gardening for the Faint of Heart and proprietor of Edible Landscapes, a small business specializing in helping people turn their landscapes into beautiful, sustainable, edible spaces.  She’s got a much-anticipated new book in the works (Rural Living for the Faint of Heart!) and in this interview, we talk about how she ended up on her little homestead and where she’s going from here.  Look forward to hearing your comments!
